Submitting a PSA?
Non profit events and fundraiser can be submitted by email to angiefoster@bicoastalmedia.com. We will not air events for free that are paying for advertising on any other media outlet (newspaper, radio, television, etc.) PSA's are posted on this page, and given random live mentions on one or more of our 5 Albany radio stations. We cannot guarantee when or if your event will be mentioned, as it is subject to time availability and on-air host discretion. PSA's should be submitted no less than 2 weeks prior to an event. Please do not send only a flier or simply a link to a page where we can "find" the information for your event. Submit a short paragraph describing the Who, What, When, Why, How much, and most importantly, what the profits will benefit.

Buster is such a sweet boy but he is so nervous here at the shelter! Can you help us get this wonderful boy a FUR-ever home? Buster is a 4-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff mix who is housebroken, well behaved and very friendly. Buster seems to get along with most dogs but would need to meet and approve of any of your canine companions before knowing if you’re his perfect match.
Come visit Buster and all of the adoptable animals at SafeHaven Humane Society. located just west of I-5 on Highway 34 in Albany or visit them online at safehavenhumane.org. Poker Run-Sweet Home-May 18th
Northwest Veterans Motorcycle Club will hold their first annual poker run on May 18th starting at the VFW in Sweet Home serving breakfast, First bike out at 10am Last bike out at 11:30am , 60 mile ride ending at our club house Sweet Home. $15 for first hand $5 for extra hands, 50/50 , Raffle , BBQ $5 a plate. All proceeds will go to our local Veteran's programs. Open to all riders and there family's. To register, click here.
Fundraisers for Dan Dooley (KRKT Wish Upon a Star recipient for 2012) May 20th
Friends, family, and co-workesr of Dan Dooley are hoping the public will help with fundraisers organized to help the family offset Dan's medical expenses. The Philomath resident is battling cancer for the 3rd time. On May 20th, there will be a fundraiser at Papa's Pizza in Corvallis. There is also a fund set up in Dan's name at Citizen's Bank.
Yogurt for Central Elementary--May 22nd--Albany
Yogurt Extreme will donate 20 percent of all profits on May 22nd to Central Elementary School all day from 11 am to 11 pm. Stop by Yogurt Extreme nex tto Fred Meyer in Albany to help the school which will use the funds for field trips, classroom supplies and more.
Annual Chris Lukesic and Sons Softball Tournament--Albany
The 6th annual event in memory of the softball loving Chris, and his two beautiful sons will be held May 31st-June 2nd at TimberLinn Park. Team registration is $200 with a $25 discount if paid by Chris's birthday on May 23rd. Teams are guaranteed 4 games. Moonlight 5 charity race--Springfield--June 1
Sacred heart Riverbend Hospital hosts the 2nd annual Moonlight Five charity race. The illuminated night race is dedicated to raising money for those affected by strokes. Teh race features a five mile course lined by thousands of glowing luminatries and is open to all ages and competitive levels. To register, volunteer, or donate, visit www.moonlightfive.com
BBQ fundraiser--McMinnville--June 20th
On Friday, June 14, Ribslayer BBQ of McMinnville will partner with the Freelin-Wade FORCE to host the 4 annual BBQ lunch fundraiser. All proceeds from the BBQ will go directly to the "See Ya Later" Foundation. The BBQ lunch will be held at Freelin-Wade from 11:30am to 1:00pm. Serving country style BBQ pork ribs, coleslaw, baked beans, corn bread, brownie and a drink. Pre-sale tickets will be available for only $10 if purchased by June 12. The "See Ya Later" Foundation is a non-profit organization that began out of the inspiration of a 12 year-old boy who died of cancer.
